So Harrisburg University is located in the City of Harrisburg right in the heart of a downtown -- walking distance from the Capitol Building and a walking distance from the transportation center. There are a lot of cool restaurants and shops for students to go and hang out at. Some of the hotspots for students is Restaurant Row and Broad Street Market. Both are easily accessible by walking. Broad Street Market is one of the most popular places for students to go to because it has such a variety of restaurants inside. There are coffee shops almost on every corner like Anna Rose and Denim, and then there's cool little tiny boutiques in Strawberry Square. One of the best things about Harrisburg University being placed in the city is a transportation system that's easily accessible. I have two sisters that live in Philadelphia and I often want to be able to see them and visit them and we also happen to have a Philadelphia campus. One of the great things about Harrisburg university is that they can book a ticket for 20 bucks and go to Philly. One of the great aspects of Harrisburg University is its closeness to Susquehanna River. There are a lot of walking trails near the river which students love to use to go on walks and jogs. Additionally, they can take the trail down across the river which is City Island where they have access to the river boat and to City Island activities. For students that go to Harrisburg University. The city is their campus.
